First, a question.
Did you know that the largest jigsaw puzzle in the world has 24,000 pieces?
Once assembled, its five feet high and 14 feet long and comes with a $300 price tag.
Not your average challenge.
Now imagine for a moment, that our lives, both yours and mine, are that same jigsaw puzzle.
I was born with hemiplegic cerebral palsy 47 years ago. For those of you without a medical degree thats a brain injury to the left side of the body. As of this writing, I am confined to a wheelchair and my injury is in decline.
That means that about half of my jigsaw puzzle, about 12,000 pieces, are, to varying degrees, flawed.
With that in mind, the objective for ScoreboardEh is simple. I intend to sell the games stars and their cards and use the proceeds to upgrade a flawed piece of the puzzle.
Again, not your average challenge.
In the days, weeks, months and hopefully years to come I’ll be sharing the story of the past 15 years and you will have a front row seat as a real life challenge plays itself out in real time.
And make no mistake….
I have no intention of giving you a front row seat to
a story with a sad ending.
I am trapped in a broken body with a mind that soars.
This is my last attempt to fly.
Because our puzzle has 24,000 pieces, my first goal is to have 24,000 cards for sale in my ScoreboardEh store at CheckOutMyCards.com. As of this writing, there are just over 4,000 cards in the store.
So if you would like to be part of the story, buy a piece of the puzzle. I’ll acknowledge your purchase and outline what was done with the proceeds and why.
This is going to be fun.
I hope this finds you well,
Barry
